Deborah Elliott LUBBOCK-Deborah Elliott, 59, of Lubbock passed away and went on to Heaven on Friday, Aug. 31, 2012. She was born in Lubbock, March 1, 1953, to I.J. and Texas Dawn (Ellison) Belt. Deborah married Bill Warren Elliott June 6, 1972. She was a loyal wife and caring mother. Deborah was also a nurse for the elderly. She worked in several cottages at the Children's Home of Lubbock and poured her heart into the kids. Deborah also visited nursing homes. She was actively involved with Word of Life Prison Ministry, Lubbock International House of Prayer and Missionary for Prepare International, and was an intercessor for Cleansing Stream Ministry. She was a member of Church on The Rock and Dream Center. Those left to cherish her memory are her father and mother; two daughters, Dionne Carr and husband Sean of Lampasas, and Stephanie Gallardo and husband Alfonso of Lubbock; one son, Bill Elliott and wife Tammy of Lubbock; one brother, Joe Belt of Columbus, Ga.; one sister, Kathy Byrum of Tahoka; and 10 grandchildren, Megan, Kristin, Destiny, Dakota, Jacob, Roy, David, Nicholas, Nathan and Noah. Deborah was preceded in death by her husband and her brother-in-law, Mike Byrum.
