Jim Schmucker Jim Schmucker, 62, of Nazareth passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 in Nazareth. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, September 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth with Rev. Ken Keller and Deacons, Bob Birkenfeld and Henry Wilhelm officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Rosary and vigil will be on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Jim was born on June 23, 1950 to Joe and Amy Gerber Schmucker in Dimmitt, Texas. He graduated from Nazareth High School in 1968. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He married Bobbie Kleman in 1973 in Nazareth. He was a lifelong resident of Nazareth. He worked as a dispatcher for Wilbur Ellis for nine years. His hobby was spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Schmucker of Nazareth; two sons, Michael Schmucker of Canyon and Rob Schmucker and his wife Sheena of Alvord, Texas; two daughters, Jayme Hoelting and her husband Casey of Amarillo and Tiffany Schulte and her husband Stacey of Canyon; three brothers, Dan Schmucker and his wife Ethel, Ray Schmucker and his wife Mary Lou all of Nazareth, and Gene Schmucker and his wife Michelle of Bryan; three sisters; Bea Hoelting and her husband Clyde, Mary Ann Schulte and Janet Schmucker, all of Nazareth; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two nephews, Shane Kleman and Jason Hoelting.
