Loretta May Fulton PADUCAH-Loretta May Fulton, 79, passed from this life on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at UMC Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on July 20, 1933, to Otis Raymond and Jewel Flatonia (Defoor) Whatley in Crosby County. She married the love of her life, H.B. Skeet Fulton, on Dec. 10, 1949, in Paducah, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ since 1955. Loretta was a woman who took great pride in everything she did. She took pride in looking her best at all times and was an excellent housekeeper. She was an excellent mother, grandmommie, and mother-in-law who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Michael Fulton and wife Penny of Idalou, Texas, and Mark Fulton of Munday, Texas; one daughter, Melody Pettiet and husband Dewayne of Guthrie, Texas; one sister, Clorene Henderson of Kerrville, Texas; two brothers, Clendon Whatley and wife Mary of Bowie, Texas, and Dalton Whatley and wife Eulinda of Burleson, Texas; five grandchildren, Alysia Fulton of Amarillo, Texas, Scott Fulton and wife Jenny of Canyon, Ethan Fulton of Idalou, Shane Pettiet of Wall, Texas, and Ashley Richey and husband David of Katy, Texas; and four great-grandchildren, Brock Pettiet, Karley Pettiet, Emeline Fulton, Amelia Richey, and one on the way. Those preceding her in death were her husband, H.B Skeet Fulton; parents, Otis and Jewel; one sister, Virgie Belle Sellers; and one brother, Preston Whatley. Public viewing is scheduled from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 8, 2012. The family will receive friends between 5 and 7 p.m. this evening. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at the Church of Christ in Paducah with interment to follow in Paducah Garden of Memories. Arrangements are entrusted to Zapata Funeral Home.
