Josephina Josie Fraire Todd LUBBOCK-Josie passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, surrounded by family. She was born April 30, 1930, to Remejia and Dagoberto Fraire in Monahans, and married Juan Chavez Todd in 1948. Josie enjoyed spending time with her family and loved caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, was diligent in her faith, and always led by example by helping those in need. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juan in 2005; two sons, Daniel and John; one brother; and three sisters. Those left to mourn her passing include her daughters, Enedina McGraw and Elsa Martinez (Alex); her sons, Andres, Alfredo (Julia), Mike, Sam, Jaime and Felix; 11 grandchildren, Liza, Leslie, Michelle, Robert, Melissa, Nick, Steve, Smokey, Sam, Matthew and Victoria; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with inurnment to follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
