Irene Molina LUBBOCK-Irene Molina, 87, of Lubbock passed from this life on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012. She was born Jan. 1, 1925, in Port Lavaca, Texas. She married Juan Molina Aug. 17, 1979, in Lubbock, Texas. Irene was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Juan; five daughters, Hope Castillo and Nick Garcia, Rosa Castilleja and husband Leroy, Yolanda Reyes, Linda Monjaraz and husband Arnold, and Elsa Hernandez and husband Juan, all of Lubbock; four sons, Lupe Reyes and wife Josie of Hale Center, Oscar Villafranco of Houston, Arnulfo Reyes of Abernathy and Armando Reyes of Lubbock; 55 grandchildren; 120 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren. Irene was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Janie and Mary Moreno; and two sons, Armando Reyes and Santos Villafranco. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 8, 2012, in Combest Family Memorial Chapel with a prayer service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Alliance Baptist Church, 5825 34th St., in Lubbock with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens.
