James Warren Bright LUBBOCK-James Warren Bright, 59, of Lubbock, slipped quietly from his mother's arms into the arms of Jesus on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012. James was born in Andrews, Texas, to Walter Junior and Ramona Harris Bright on July 4, 1953. James began his education with his GED in September 1977; he then became a certified typist and data entry operator specialist in March 1983. In August of 1991, James found his passion and life's work when he became a certified paralegal. In December 2002, James followed his Church of Christ upbringing and received his credentials in ministry. The family to cherish and carry on James' memory are his mother, Ramona Bright; sister, Jaretta Bright Snead and husband Clayton; sister, Connie Gray Bethune and husband Randy; nine nieces and nephews; 11 great nieces and nephews; and most of all, Tiny, his dog and best friend. James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Olan and Lola Harris, and Walter and Fannie Bright; his father, Walter Junior Bright; a sister, Sandra Bright Gist (James passed away on the 27th anniversary of her passing); and a brother, Walter David Bright. Memorial services are scheduled for 4 p.m. today, Nov. 8, 2012, in the chapel at Sunset Church of Christ with David Ehler leading the service. A graveside service with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. in the Wolfforth Cemetery with Monte Pettyjohn leading the service.
