William Robert Bob Karr LUBBOCK- Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Bob Karr, a lifelong resident of Lubbock this evening , November 11, 2012, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Our beloved Bob went to be with the Lord on his 84th birthday, Nov. 8, 2012. He was born in Lubbock to the late Roy and Mary Pauline (West) Karr. He graduated from Lubbock High School and attended Texas Tech University. Bob started working for Scoggin-Dickey Chevrolet Buick when he was a teenager and retired from the same company after 51 years. He married the love of his life, Lois Huckabee on April 18, 1957 in Lubbock. Bob was a member of the Lubbock Lions Club and the Methodist Men. He also volunteered in many community activities. He enjoyed woodworking, especially building clocks, camping and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Lois; a daughter, Kellye Bouldin and husband Richard of Lubbock; two grandchildren, Brooke Robnett and husband Micah of Lubbock and Blake Bouldin of Plano; two great-granddaughters, Ava and Emma; two sisters, Frances Morgan and Janelle Karr both of Lubbock; and many nieces and nephews.
