Billie Joe Campbell LUBBOCK- Services for Billie Joe Campbell, 92, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in Sanders Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. B.J.'s family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral Home. B.J. passed away on November 11, 2012. B.J. was born June 20, 1920 in Menlow, Texas to Luther W. and Era Campbell. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He taught school in Plains, Texas before moving to Lubbock where he taught at Matthews and Atkins Junior High School. B.J. married Odessa McInroe Odom on June 20, 1961. He was a member of Broadway Church of Christ. Loved ones include his wife, Odessa; sons, Max Odom and Rod Odom; a sister, Ina Ross Mitchell; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
