Kerry Wayne Smith Silver Tooth Plumber TAHOKA-Kerry Wayne Smith of Tahoka passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at the age of 51. He was born April 28, 1961, in Lamesa to Kenneth Wayne and Mary Belle (Wood) Smith. He was a graduate of O'Donnell High School. Kerry married Waynell Little on Jan. 10, 1987, in Lamesa. Kerry was a member of First Baptist Church in O'Donnell. He worked as a self-employed plumber. Kerry was an accomplished musician and song writer and played in numerous bands. He was known as the silver tooth plumber. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Waynell; daughter, Karla Smith and fianc Bretton Engle of Tahoka; son, Kody Smith of O'Donnell; mother, Mary Belle Mahurin of Tahoka; maternal grandmother, Nora Belle Wood of Tahoka; two brothers, Kenny Smith and Darren Smith, both of Tahoka; stepbrother, Christopher Vargas of Tahoka; and two grandchildren, Kylie Jolly and Logan Engle. Kerry was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Wayne Smith; stepson, Kevin Little; and many close friends and relatives.
