Edward Reuel Nash LUBBOCK-A memorial service for Edward Reuel Nash, 57, of Lubbock, Texas, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, in the chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home with the Reverend John Ballard officiating. Ed was born Sept. 17, 1955, in Austin, Texas, to Marjorie Lewis Nash and Elihu Reuel Nash. He passed from this life Nov. 19, 2012. He grew up in Plainview, Texas, where he attended Plainview High School and obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. His family remembers him as a son, brother and friend who was passionate about life. His heart and zeal touched many lives. Ed is survived by his mother, Marjorie Nash of Lubbock; sisters, Linda Nash of Lubbock and Susan Roup of Lubbock, and her sons, Steve and Ed Roup of Lubbock; brother, Wayne Nash and wife Donna of Plano, Texas, and their children, Michael Nash of Plano, Texas, and Kristen and Kathleen Nash of Austin, Texas; and brother, Robert Nash, of Plano, Texas, and his children, Emily Kitch and her husband Denver of Oklahoma City, Okla., Patrick Nash and his wife Stephanie of Plano, Texas, and Julia Nash of Plano Texas. Honorary pallbearers are Andrew Blankenhorn, Matthew Mitchell, Russell Terry, Alex Hooper, Dell Kendrix, Martha Lopez and Juanita Gonzales, who all assisted Ed in so many wonderful ways.
