Bill Brower FORT WORTH- Bill Brower, 76, passed away Wednesday in Lubbock, Texas. Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with full military honors, Pastor Nathan Tucker officiating. Bill was born February 21, 1936 in Coffeeville, Miss. and grew up in Memphis, Tenn. He received his Bachelors in Engineering from Texas Tech University. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force where he was in the Korean War and Vietnam War. He was a Master Sergeant and retired after 20 dedicated years. Bill was a successful business owner and an engineer for Texas Instruments. He also had a love for sports particularly football and baseball. His passion for sports carried through to the love of golf later in life. Bill is survived by his children, Shawn and Brandy Brower of Haslet, Texas, Kimberly and Eric Balzen of Lubbock, Texas, Diannah and Gerry Tatum of Lubbock, Texas, Glenda and Mike Conroy of Denver, Colo., Elisabeth and Dennis Sholey of Roseville, Minn., and Daniel and Inga Brower of Germany; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
