J.C. Harrell LUBBOCK-John J.C. Harrell, 75, of Lubbock passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Jan. 18, 1937, in Brandon, Miss. He married Elida Soto on Dec. 25, 1984. Together, they owned and operated Security Towing for more than 25 years. J.C. is survived by his wife, Elida; son, Ricky Harrell of Mississippi; daughters, Donna Tollett of Dallas and Johnnia Harrell of Abernathy; five stepchildren, Rickie, Anita, Robert and Chris, all of Lubbock, and Jimmy from Panhandle; siblings, Fannie Peacock and Henry Harrell, both of Abernathy; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, in Combest Family Memorial Chapel with a prayer service to begin at 7 p.m. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in Combest Family Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
