Pansy Pennington LUBBOCK- Pansy (Pat) Pennington went to be with her Lord Sunday, December 16, 2012. Pat was born November 26, 1930 in Ponta, Texas to the late Hubert Cleo Sherman and Mary Jo (Young) Sherman. She married Roscoe Pennington, Jr. May 15, 1949 in Jacksonville, Texas and relocated to Lubbock in 1954. She is survived by son, James Pennington and daughter Sharon Fogerson; four grandchildren Bryan Pennington, Angela Smith, Curtis Pennington, and Brandon Pennington; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, Hubert, Ronnie and Johnny Sherman and sister Jo Ann Done. Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband Roscoe Pennington and brothers Jimmy and Roy Sherman. The family will receive friends at Resthaven Funeral Home Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. Services will be at 1 p.m. in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel Thursday, December 20, 2012, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Condolences may be offered at http://www.resthavenfuneralhome.com/.
