Neta Dirickson Littlefield - Neta Dirickson, 77, of Littlefield, went home to be with her Lord and was reunited with her husband on December 27, 2012, in Levelland, Texas, after a long battle with cancer. Graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013, in the Levelland Cemetery. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Littlefield, with Dr. Brian Hill and Pastor Dwayne Wheat officiating. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home. Throughout her life Neta had an unwavering faith and love for the Lord that she shared with her children, grandchildren and beloved nieces and nephews. Her greatest desire was that her loved ones personally know Jesus as their Lord & Savior. She graciously shared her faith with everyone she met and was known as a prayer warrior. Neta loved music, played the piano and sang in the church choir for most of her life. She was an excellent seamstress and made beautiful clothes for her children and grandchildren. Neta is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Fred Dirickson, in 2002; two daughters, Jeanie Fias and Terrie LeVey Dirickson; and a granddaughter, Jillian Fias. She is survived by her sons, Bradley Dirickson and wife, Heather of Bernalillo, New Mexico, and Ivan Dirickson of Littlefield; her daughter, Kellie Neal and husband, Seb of Lubbock; son-in-law, Don Fias of Castle Rock, Washington; her grandchildren, Joshua Dirickson and wife, Laura, Justin Dirickson, Jordan Dirickson and wife, Xenia, Ellery Dirickson, Derek Fias, Zac Fias and wife, Nicole, Aryn Smith, Kacy Abram and husband, Doug, Carly Smith and Daniel Dirickson; 12 great grandchildren, and 13 adored nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her family and her many friends in Littlefield, throughout West Texas and the Pacific Northwest.
