Regena Herrington Paschall NORTH RICHLAND HILLS- Regena Herrington Paschall, 70, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Sunday December the 30, 2012, with her family by her side in North Richland Hills, Texas. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday January 4, 2013 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel followed by grave side services at Greenwood Cemetery, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth. The family will receive friends 6 till 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Regena was born February 26, 1942 in Hillsboro, Texas to Merrick Herrington, Jr and Josie Sessums. She was introduced to the love of her life by her Aunt Lorine Johnson. She married Gordon McLean Paschall June 1964. She attended Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management. She was committed to whatever she did, and she did a little bit of everything. Most of all, she took care of her family and was a friend to many. She will be fondly remembered for her quick wit, generosity, gentle spirit. She died peacefully and spent her last days surrounded by her loved ones, who lifted her up in prayer. Although we will miss her terribly, we are thankful that she went to be with her Lord for New Years. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Paschall; her brother, Elton Herrington; her sister, Deloris Balthrop; her father, Merrick Herrington; her mother, Josie Sessums; her grandson Casey Neal; and many others that she loved. Regena is survived by her loving husband, Gordon McLean Paschall; her children, David Paschall and his wife Davona, Melinda Paschall Gintzer, Danny Paschall and his wife Brenda, Karen Neal Mangus and her husband Gerald, Regina Letcher, Frances Stapleford and her husband Billie, Belinda Scoggin; 26 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; her brothers, Calvin Herrington and Charlie Anderson; and many aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, in-laws and friends. She was a special gift to all of us. She lived well, died well and will always bring back a smile to those who knew and loved her.
