Fernando Ybarra LUBBOCK-Funeral services for Fernando Ybarra, 47, of Lubbock will be on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at 10 a.m. in The Salvation Army Chapel with the Rev. DeShawn Avery officiating. Burial will be in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel. Fernando passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, in Lubbock. He was born on Aug. 26, 1965, in Lubbock to the late Jose Frank (1997) and Janie Ybarra. He was a 1983 graduate of Estacado High School. He worked as a maintenance man for Saddle Wood Apartments. He had worked previously for Carillon House for eight years. He was a professional dart player, he loved to play cards, and he was an avid Texas Longhorn fan. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Angel Palomo, in 1997. He is survived by his mother, Janie, and stepfather Joel Garza, both of Lubbock; a son, Jose Fernando Ybarra Jr. of Lubbock; three daughters, Brandi Lee Ybarra, Stephanie Ybarra and Adelina Ybarrra, all of Arlington; a brother, Jose Frank Ybarra Jr. of Irving; two sisters, Isabel Dotson and Pauline Ybarra, both of Lubbock; a grandson, Ethan Albaladejo of Arlington; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He will be ready for viewing in The Salvation Army Chapel located at 1111 16th Street in Lubbock today from 10 a.m. until service time.
