Arthur Allen Rampy LUBBOCK-Arthur Allen Rampy, 83, of Lubbock passed away Jan. 24, 2013. There will be a private family-only service. There will be a celebration of life luncheon at the Lubbock Country Club on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 11:30 a.m. Friends, family and associates are all invited. Arthur was born Sept. 13, 1929, in Lubbock to Estel A. and Leta Leoda Rampy. He attended Lubbock High and Texas Tech University. He married Pat Ausmus 62 years ago. He was a Navy veteran during the Korean conflict. Arthur was stationed at New Port, R.I., Naval Officer Candidates' School. After returning to Lubbock, he was with Texas Sheet Metal, which was established by his father in 1939. He is survived by his wife, Pat Rampy; a son, Mark (Dawn) Rampy of Lubbock, along with his children, Matthew (Amy) Rampy and their daughter, Isabel, Holly (Brad) Eckert of Dallas, Ashley Rampy, Bridget Rampy and Sean Rampy of Lubbock; a daughter, Sharon (Frank) Castro of Portland, Ore., along with their son, Taylor; and brothers, Duane Rampy and Paul Rampy of Lubbock.
