Hudman Buran House LUBBOCK-Hudman Buran House, 86, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, in Lubbock. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Tim Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. today, Feb. 8, at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. Buran was born Dec. 7, 1926, in Ralls to the late Marshall Hudman and Ophelia Mariam (Ousley) House. On Aug. 27, 1951, he married Mary Lois House; she preceded him in death after a lengthy illness on July 12, 1987. They had one son, Hudman Clyde House. On Feb. 5, 1988, he married Margaret Burrows. He was a member of the Emma Church of Christ, graduated in '45, and directly after graduation enlisted in the US Army. After his return, he worked at the Piggly Wiggly from '47-'69. He dedicated 26 years working at the tax office, serving on numerous boards and serving as the president of the Texas Tax Assessors Collector Assn., the Ralls Zoning Committee, and EMS. Buran was a member of the JC's and Rotary Club. He was also a real estate agent, appraiser and insurance agent. He owned and operated the 7-11 Quick Stop in Ralls for 36 years. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary Lois; and one sister, Vivian Cypert. Survivors include his wife, Margaret House of Ralls; one son, Hudman Clyde House and wife Kim of Allen, Texas; and one grandson, Hudman Bradford House.
