Billy Wayne Crowder LUBBOCK- Memorial services for Bill Crowder, 86, of Lubbock, will be at 10 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2013 in Sanders Memorial Chapel with his son, Patrick Crowder officiating. Bill was born July 7, 1926 in DeQueen, Arkansas to the late Cecil and Allie Mae Crowder. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He married Martha Nell Williamson on March 27, 1948. Bill sold real estate, worked as an appraiser at FHA and ran his own business. Bill had an outgoing personality and made people smile with his quick wit and friendly demeanor. He accepted Jesus as his Savior at an early age and considered himself a Baptist. Bill was also an avid golfer scoring his last hole in one on October 9, 2006. Bill is survived by three sons, Mike (Debra) Crowder of Ransom Canyon, David (Susan) Crowder of Lubbock, and Patrick (Mindy) Crowder of La Verne, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Marsha Lynn Crowder.
