Ronald Ronnie Rieff LUBBOCK-Ronald Ronnie Henry Rieff, 60, passed from this life on Feb. 22, 2013. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Oakwood Baptist Church. Ronnie Rieff was born Nov. 3, 1952, to Henry Rieff and Elouise Brewster Rieff in Plainview, Texas. After graduating from Cotton Center High School in 1971, he attended Texas Tech University. In 1974, he married his high school sweetheart, Thresa Crabtree. Ronnie was a passionate man and a true follower of God. He used his gifts as a leader to influence many lives. Some of his favorite pastimes were spending time with his grandson, cooking, and working in construction. Ronnie is survived by his father, Henry Rieff and three brothers, Jerry Rieff of Hale Center, Burt Rieff and spouse, Lynne, of Florence, Ala., and David and wife, Sydney, of Amarillo, Texas. He also leaves behind his daughter, Kristie Hurley and husband, Shaun, of Lubbock; son, Travis Rieff and wife, Ashley, of Dallas; his grandson, Carson Hurley of Lubbock; as well as many loved nieces and nephews. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Elouise Brewster Rieff. He will be greatly missed, but his family takes great comfort in knowing they will see him again someday in Heaven. Memorials can be sent to Legacy Play Village, Lubbock, Texas, as well as to Oakwood Baptist Church of Lubbock, Texas.
