Dorothy Berry LUBBOCK-March 1, 1923 to Feb. 18, 2013 Dorothy Nell Berry of Irving passed away peacefully on Feb. 18, 2013. She was born in 1923 in Lamesa, the daughter of Luther and Amy Berry. She graduated from the University of Texas in Austin and spent her career as an accountant for Exxon in Houston. Dorothy was a generous and independent woman who loved art, opera and travel. She is survived by her sisters, Ruth McCord of Douglassville, Pa., and Jan Morris of Farmers Branch, and was predeceased by her brother, George Berry of Waco. She was much loved and will be sorely missed by her eight nieces and nephews and many grand-nieces and nephews. A memorial service in celebration of Dorothy's life will be held on Monday, Feb. 25, 10 a.m. at Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Irving. Memorial donations may be made to Episcopal Church of the Redeemer.
