Katherine Havard Williams
Services for Katherine Havard Williams, 82, of Diboll, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Grimes Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was born November 7, 1931, the daughter of the late Sula (Johnson) and Johnny Havard. She passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 in a local hospital.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed reading her Bible and visiting with her friends. Mrs. Williams was a seamstress and loved taking care of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Belinda and Jim Walsh of Tennessee and Carolyn and Johnny Austin of Diboll; grandchildren, Lisa Walsh Nagy, Brenda Walsh Cox, Jennifer Austin, Lindsey Austin; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Quinton Williams; two brothers, Arliss Havard and Vernon J. W. Havard; and sister, Esther Austin.
Pallbearers will be Jason Satterwhite, Braden Nagy, Marlyn Smith, Bobby Allen, Condolences may be offered at www.gipsonfuneralhome.com
Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
