Bill Fann

Memorial services for Bill Fann, 54, of Kountze, will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Kountze with Brother Jeffery Pittman and Brother Ronnie Morrow officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Snead Linton Funeral Home. Mr. Fann was born December 18, 1956 in Kountze, to the late Mary Elizabeth (Hoke) and Bobby Gene Fann, and died Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in Lufkin. He was a self-employed truck driver for over 30 years and enjoyed camping, fishing, "old time trade days" in Winnie, Texas, and being with his family. He also enjoyed collecting antiques and watching his hero John Wayne. Survivors include his daughter, Casandra "Soni" Phillips and her fiancŽ, Jason Cole; son, Shaun Rogers Fann, all of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, Billy Rogers Jr. "Bud" and Kirsten Fann; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth "Dani" and Justin Smith, all of Kountze; daughter, Cheyenne Fann of Huntsville; grandchildren, Derik Fann Havard, Taygan Snider, Dryden Snider, Grace Cole, Emma Cole, Kaleb Fann, Trever Fann, Makaylee Smith; other relatives, and a host of friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fann was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dewey Hoke. Snead Linton Funeral Home, directors.
