Interment will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery. Mrs. Dhone was born October 12, 1932 in Beeville, Texas to the late Mildred Louise (Couser) and William W. McMurray, and died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Dhone was a proud and active member in Zavalla's community. Throughout her life she enjoyed participating in various fund raisers to help support those in need as well as Zavalla ISD's athletic department. These were second only to her family and those she loved around her. Mrs. Dhone was also a faithful member of the Zavalla Church of Christ. Mrs. Dhone's family would like to thank Hospice in the Pines, as well as extend our gratitude to Pam Hooks and Lanita Ison for their compassion and loving care. We would also like to say thank you to Barbara Bridges, her dear and devoted friend. She loved you very much.
