Funeral services for Dennis 'Denny' Lee, 41, of Lufkin, will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 4 p.m. at Cross Timbers Cowboy Church with Pastor Ford Adkins and Elder Bill Hall officiating. Private interment will be in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Lee was born December 29, 1972 in Jasper, Texas to Trissa Jane (Gallop) and the late Dennis Audrey Lee, Sr. He died Saturday, January 11, 2014 in Hudson from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Denny worked as a machinist from Lufkin Industries for 19 years in the Gear Repair Department. He graduated from Hudson High School in 1991, and served in the U.S. Navy until 1995. Denny was a member of Cross Timbers Cowboy Church, and loved reading and studying God's word. He was loved by the community and had many friends, all of whom he would have done anything to help in a time of need. Denny is survived by his wife of 20 years, Eileen Lee of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Jazmin and Aston Lee; son, Jason Lee; mother, Trissa Lee; sisters and brother-in-law, Melissa and Bernard Richard, Denise and David Bowley, Jr., and Laurie and Sam Chambers; nieces and nephews, Laken Bowley, Mason Hill, Allicyn Bowley, Sean White, Caden Chambers, Emily Chambers and Jessica Cruz; grandmothers, Patricia Burns and Joyce Lee; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws. Denny was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Lee, Sr.; grandfathers, William Gallop and Audrey Lee; and niece, Amber Bowley. Pallbearers will be Chad Becker, Keith Summerall, Steve Bennett, Travis Flowers, Nick Church, Aston Lee, Adam Logan and Kaegan Dillard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason White and the First Shift of Lufkin Gear Repair. Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Timbers Cowboy Church, 4977 US Highway 69, Lufkin, Texas 75904. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Memories and condolences may be added at Carroway Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.
