Jesse Randolph Curry Sr., 65, passed away Feb. 2, 2013 in his home surround by his family. Jesse lived in Pine Bluff, Arkansas with his wife, Ann, for the past three years, but Jesseâ€™s home was Diboll. He was born May 6, 1947. He was an auto mechanic and a life long fisherman right to the very end of his fight with cancer. He is survived by his sons, Jesse ( Pistol) Curry Jr., Micheal Curry and wife Trudy; daughters, Karlen Curry Courtney and son-in-law, Grady Courtney, Cindy Curry Murray and husband, David Murray; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Christine Rogers, Tammy Rogers Hopkins; a number of nieces and nephews; wife, Ann Rabb Curry; stepdaughter, Jamie; four step-grandchildren. Jesse is preceded in death by his mother and father, Hilda Crook and T.R. Curry; first wife, Wanda Garett Curry; stepmother, Geraldine Curry; sister Geraldine Simoneaux; and step-daughter, Melissa. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Prairie Grove Baptist Church in Diboll. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to cancer research.
