Cushing - Memorial service for Clifford Earl "Daddy/Papa" Faver, 75, of Cushing will be Saturday, July 12th at 4 p.m. at the Prairie View Methodist Church in Nogalus Prairie, located on Elmer Smith Road. Following services family and friends are welcomed where Clifford grew up in Nogalus Prairie. Mr. Faver passed away Monday evening, July 7, 2014 in Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. He was born January 14, 1939 in Nogalus Prairie, to Mr. Elwood and Ella Wayne Ellisor-Faver. In his early years Clifford would help on the family farm and hauled four foot pulpwood for his daddy, Mr. Elwood Faver. After graduating from Apple Springs High School in 1957 he received a Diesel Mechanic degree from Lamar Tech and also attended Sam Houston State University. After having his own logging business, Clifford worked abroad in the oil and gas industry traveling to Iraq, Saudi Arabia, South America and Africa. He took pride in his work ethic wherever it took him. He had a passion for gardening and sharing his bounty. He has a beautiful garden to this day. Clifford also spent his days in the Gulf of Mexico fishing with his family and friends on his boat. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Kenneth Ray and Harold Faver and wife, Patience Faver. He leaves behind daughters, Julie Faver-Brown and husband Johnny of Apple Springs, Sue Ellen Faver-Hurley and husband Bryan of Sulphur Springs, Destiny Eziomowho of Houston; sons, Terry Faver and wife Sonya of Cushing, Christopher Earl Favor of New Hartford, Conneticut, Foster Eziomowho of Houston, Alvin Eziomowho of Houston; sister, Patricia Faver Sullivan and husband Bernie of Pasadena; brothers, Robert Linnwood and wife Tamara of Humble, Gene Douglas Faver and wife Crystal of Houston; grandchildren, Josh Harris and wife Julie, Abbe-Anne Harris, Ashley Lynn Faver, Caroline Hurley, Kate Hurley, Clifford Earl Faver Jr., Talon "Trooper" Hart and wife Lindsey Hart and Steven Kelley; great-grandchildren, Ian Thomas Harris, Ryan Hart and Addison Hart; nieces, Lynn Williams, Heather Faver, Morgan Faver and Courtney Faver; nephews, Chris Morgan, Andrew Faver, Blake Faver, Michael Faver, James Faver, Brian Faver and Kenneth Faver; best friend and beloved pet, Yorkie Brutus Earl, these two were inseparable for the past five years.
