Funeral services with full military honors for Johnnie Ray Begley, 63, of Broaddus will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in the Broaddus Pentecostal Church with Rev. Mark Green officiating. Mr. Begley was born in Whitesburg, KY to the late Beatrice Faye (Hike) and Johnnie Butler Begley on March 14, 1949 and died on December 6, 2012 at his residence. He was a Mason and worked as a foreman for Lucia Inc. and Camarata Masonry Systems. Mr. Begley loved his kids and his grandbabies. He enjoyed the outdoors, a good debate, and loved to read He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp and received many awards and was a member of the Broaddus Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Angel Wilshire and Bill Perry of Broaddus; sons, Todd Cummins of Lansing, MI and Kenneth El’Ray Begley of Broaddus; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Mike Streams of Oceanside, CA; son and daughter-n-law, Jody and Tiffany Begley; son, Joshua Paul Begley, all of Broaddus; grandchildren, Jessica Cope, Dakota Johnson, Zachary Begley, Katie Johnson, Jackson Begley, Arienne Begley, Shaelynn Begley, Gavin Streams, Christopher Cummins, Shawna Cummins, Johnny Cummins, and Mark Cummins; brothers, James and Paul Begley; sister, Earlynn Pierpoint; other family relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Begley was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Begley and daughter, Melanie Begley. Casketbearers will be Kenneth Begley, Jody Begley, Josh Begley, Dakota Johnson, Mike Streams, and Bill Perry. Honorary casketbearers will be Shane Kennedy and Billy Riggs. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Broaddus Pentecostal Church. Eternal tributes may be made at Snead Linton Funeral Home, directors.
