Billy was born July 31, 1958 to Hollis and Billie Stringer. He passed away on October 26, 2013, after a massive stroke. The family is extremely grateful to the nurses and doctors at Hospice in the Pines for the excellent care he and the family received following the stroke. Billy worked at Nacogdoches Marine for over 20 years. He is preceded in death by his mother Billie Stringer. Billy is survived by his father Hollis Stringer, sisters and brother-in-laws Cathy and Arnie Allgood, Jo and Mike Due, sister Molly Stringer and brother Keith Stringer. Billy is also survived by his nephews who he gave valuable life advice to and loved as if they were his own sons, Caleb and Kara Due, Jake and Jenna Ellis, and Cullen and Rachelle Due. In keeping with his wishes and the way he lived his life, he will be cremated and his family will hold a Celebration of his life for family and friends. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that a donation is made to Hospice in the Pines.
