I just heard about Ken, what a shock. I too had the pleasure of working with him briefly, as I was a back up for the Office Manager. He was a very patient person and always had time to help anyone. He will be greatly missed.

I only had the privilege of working with Ken a few times over the years, as I am a back-up to our banker/registrar. However, whenever I needed anything at all (like the numerous times our computers were reimaged and the banking program was totally wiped out), Ken would laughingly coach me through reinstalling the program and retrieving all the past information. We, here in Laughlin, will miss his patience, help and kindness.Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Ken as a CCSD School Banker and then had the pleasure of running in to him at my present position. He always had a big smile and a great biking story for me. We both shared the love of riding. I will never forget this kind and gentle soul. He will be missed. It is our loss but Heaven's gain. God bless to the family.

To Kenny's family, I am sorry sorry to hear of your loss. Your husband and father was a very dear friend when we were growing up. We attended the same grade school and were friends until graduation. I have many fond memories from riding bikes in the summers to all fo the orchestra practices and the fun we had playing for the musical productions in High School. How blessed you are to have been his family, I know this because I know what a kind and true friend he was to me all those many years ago. You are in my prayers. May the lors bless and comfort you in this incredibly painful time

Oh Jenny, I just heard of Ken's passing (I was on top of Beaver Mtn during this ordeal) I have always loved and admired you and Ken. You are great examples to the rest of us. Thankfully we have the Gospel in our lives which truly gives us Peace and Comfort during these dark days. We will never forget Ken. Some people are just meant to work with the youth and he was one of those people. They loved him and he loved working with them. In the Church and out, he touched the lives of young people who will forever be changed for the better because of his influence. Both of us love and miss him and so do a generation of local youth!

Ken was truly the most patient man and so understanding when any of the school bankers needed a hand. I appreciate everything he has helped me with the last 10yrs and Ken will be missed dearly by us all.

Moments before he left us, I watched Ken help young people push their handcarts, cheerfully encourage them, and take pictures of those he loved. He was smiling the whole time and enjoying his service. He ended his life fully dedicated to serving his friends, a great example to all of us. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

My condolences go out to the Selch family. What a funny, wonderful, patient, amazing, and caring human being!! These are just a few words that describe Ken. CCSD was so fortunate to have him as an employee. He was truly one of a kind. Whatever the problem was, Ken was ALWAYS there to help with a smile! I am sure he is making God laugh right now!! The CCSD has lost an amazing employee, we have lost an awesome co-worker and friend. I could always rely on Ken, just a phone call away, to help with whatever problem I ran into in banking. Ken will be missed by so many people in the CCSD. He was always available when you needed him, always joked around, and always had a smile on his face. The CCSD was so very lucky to have such a smart man in the banking department. Ken will be missed not only for his intelligence, humor, and kindness but security of knowing that if you have a problem, Ken was always there to help you fix things.

We express our sincere and heartfelt condolences on the passing of Ken. He was a great father, grandfather, husband, man, and friend. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help. He was looked up to by our two boys, Timothy and Ryan, in the time he spent as their Scoutmaster. He will truly be missed but we know that he has a place in the Celestial Kingdom next to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. May God bless and strengthen the entire Selch family during this time.
