Eula Chandler Obituary

EULA CHANDLER Eula Mae "Smitty" Chandler, Feb. 6, 1933 ~ Jan. 10, 2011, has passed away at her home in Kingman, Ariz. She was born to the late Rome and Ruby Smith, in Ripley, Okla. She was a licensed practical nurse for Dr. Thomas Redfern, a surgeon, at the Henderson Clinic from, 1968-1995. She also served as a chairperson for the American Cancer Society and was with the Women's Business Association. Smitty always would donate her time. She liked a variety of things; cooking, sewing, decorating cakes, playing the piano and crafts. She was adventurous riding in a hot air balloon. She was preceded in death by daughters, Sandra Sue and Linda Lynn (Reese) Smith; and her husband, Woodrow Wilson (Woody) Chandler, who passed away Aug. 14, 2010. She is survived by daughters, Kimberly Kay Chandler of Kingman, and Amelia Ann (Amy) (Mike) Klinger of Boulder City; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. No services are planned.
