Robert Tolbert Obituary

ROBERT TOLBERT Robert E. Tolbert, 88, a retired real estate investor, passed away May 24, 2010. He was born May 19, 1922, in Amarillo, Texas, and was a 14-year resident of Nevada. Robert earned his real estate certificate at UCLA-Berkeley and was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. Robert is survived by his wife, Irene K. Tolbert; son, David Tolbert of Las Vegas; daughter, Paula Backer; and grandson, David Backer, both of Tucson, Ariz.; brothers, Roy Tolbert of Atwater, Calif., Raymond Tolbert of Rio Linda, Calif., and Frank Tolbert of Madera, Calif.; and sister, Barbara Tolbert of Fresno, Calif. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, May 28, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Donations can be made to the Salvation Army.

Aunt Irene and Family,
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I will always cherish my memories of traveling with Uncle Bob and the wonderful Califorina history lessons he shared with me. Marina and I will miss him.
Our love and prayers are with you Aunt Irene and also with all Uncle Bobs Children and Grandchildren.
