Joan L. Bennett, age 55, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on April 25, 2012. Loving mother of Erica (Huston) Julian and Bryan Bennett. Loving and proud to be grandmother of first grandchild expected in October. Loving daughter of John and Margaret Logelin. Beloved sister of Stephen Logelin, Lorna Ciul and Thomas Logelin. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Joan will always be remembered by her glowing smile and positive outlook on life. Visitation Sunday 1-9 p.m. at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc. 49150 Schoenherr Road (N. of 22 Mile Road) Shelby Township. Funeral Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. She was and will always be a ray of sunshine and positive power for me and always!!!!!!! I too am a recent survivor to this terrible disease of cancer. Has yet to be a year for me, I will always cherish her positive outlook, she was and will always be a true inspiration. God bless.
