Louise Veronica Angermeier

Louise Veronica Angermeier, age 83, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Avon Park, Florida. Mrs. Angermeier was born in Quincy, Illinois on September 15, 1929 to Albert and Veronica (Jewett) Korte. She was a Medical Secretary, member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir for many years and she had a beautiful voice, she was a former member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She had been a resident of Avon Park since 1991 coming from Mount Clemens, Michigan. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, she was a member of the American Legions Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed entertaining friends and spending time with family. She is survived by her children, Katherine (James) McNaughton of Savannah, Georgia, Stephen (Sherry) Angermeier of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Kurt Angermeier of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Lisa (Jack) Morris of Pinckney, Michigan; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, George Angermeier; her twin brother, Thomas Korte and a great grandchild, Griffin Haskins. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father Luis Pacheco officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legions Ladies Auxiliary. Arrangements were entrusted to the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park.
