Mary Elizabeth Martin, age 92, of Mount Clemens, passed away late Monday evening at the Church of Christ Nursing Home, Clinton Township. She was born May 20, 1921 to Joplin and Mary Augusta (Sullivan) Rogers in Lehigh, Oklahoma. On August 8, 1942 Mary was united in marriage with Thomas James Martin II in Joplin, Missouri. The couple settled in Mount Clemens. Mrs. Martin was a teacher at Oakwood Junior High School in the East Detroit School District. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church, Mount Clemens, and an active member of the YMCA. Mary enjoyed playing bridge, and for her entire life she was involved with helping others. Surviving is her daughter, Mary Anne (Nino) Trivelloni of Mount Clemens; daughter-in-law, Susan Martin; grandchildren, Antonio (Jill) Trivelloni, Michael (Karen) Trivelloni, Thomas Trivelloni, Michelle (Alver) Dunbar and Jim (Ashley) Martin, and eight great-grandchildren, Antonio "Nino", Silvia, Lidia and Peyton of Mt. Clemens, and Kaylee, AJ, Makenzie and Emily of Frisco, Texas. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Thomas on March 17, 1975 and son, Thomas James Martin III.
