Melvin W. Card, age 89, of Clinton Township, died on Saturday, February 25, 2012. He was born February 11, 1923 in Mount Clemens to the late Milton and Elsa Rossow Card. Retired from Michigan Bell Telephone. Member of Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post #4, the Old Crowd, and Juggle Up Club. His passions in life included family, hunting, especially his friends from Johannesburg, Mich., fishing, golf, bowling, Euchre and making friends. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Patricia; children, Christine Card, Connie (Kevin) Wasmund, Lawrence (Carol) Card and Valerie (Dennis) Miller; thirteen grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren with one on the way. Predeceased by siblings, Kenneth and Milton Card, and Betty Pischa. Funeral services Friday, 11:30 a.m. (instate 11 a.m.) at St. Louis Catholic Church, 25514 Crocker, Clinton Township.
