Ronald W. Saydak Obituary
Saydak, Ronald W., age 82, passed away peacefully in his sleep April 27, 2014. He was a 1949 graduate of Northeastern High School in Detroit; served two years in the United States Marine Corps; worked as a systems analyst of Grand Trunk Western Railroad, the IRS Data Center; and retired from TACOM in 1988. Ron was an accomplished musician, playing tenor sax with his band “The Blue Notes”. He was also a Harley motorcycle enthusiast and member of the Great Lakes Chapter and Wolverine Chapter. Ron was an avid boater, fisherman and hunter. He was extremely talented in any endeavor that he pursued. “Big Ron” is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Tina (nee Lopresti); children, Raymond, Karen Ventimiglia, Susan Owings and Linda (Ronald II) Grose; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Koval. He was predeceased by son-in-law, Charley Ventimiglia. Ron leaves behind many loving relatives and friends. He will be missed. Service 11 a.m., Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Hauss Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb (north of 21 Mile) with Military Honors. Visitation 1-9 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
