Obituary Condolences

NOSAL, THEODORE 'TED' age 84, of Warren, passed away on November 2, 2013 at his home. Ted Nosal was born in Stewartsville, OH on May 3, 1929 to John and Veronica (Tomasik). He graduated from Bellaire High Schools in June 1947 and enlisted in the Air Force in 1948. Ted met his first wife, Christine (Sensing) and married on June 7, 1952 near Ft. Campbell, Tenn. During their first year of marriage, Christine fell ill and passed away. He moved to Detroit in September of 1953. In 1955, Ted met Katherine Bedenko and they married June 1956 in Hazel Park, Mich., and settled into their current home in Warren; raised five children and enjoyed 12 grandchildren over 51 years of marriage. Ted was employed by General Motors on Piquette Street in Detroit from 1953-1955 as a tool and die journeyman; and served as plant chairman of UAW Local 157. Ted is survived by his family and friends; brother, Jerome (Marjorie) Nosal; children, Mary Ann (Wael) Dokho; daughter-in-law, Susan; David, Christopher, Frank (Pam) and twelve grandchildren, he loved dearly. Ted was preceded in death by parents, John and Veronica; first wife, Christine (1953); second wife, Katherine (2007); oldest son, Theodore Francis Nosal (2007); and many family and friends. Visitation will be this Thursday 4-9 p.m. and Friday 1-9 p.m. at E.J. Mandziuk & Sons Funeral Home on 18 mile and Ryan Road in Sterling Heights. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at St. Mark's Church in Warren. The instate will be held at 10:30 a.m. and Mass at 11 a.m., with luncheon to follow at the church. Donations to be made to St. Mark's Church in Warren, Make-A-Wish, or Beaumont Hospice.
