MR. WILLIAM ADAMSON "BILL" WRIGHT Obituary
WRIGHT, WILLIAM ADAMSON "BILL" Age 92, died on December 17, 2013. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Henrietta, after 62 years of marriage. He was the loving father of Cynthia (Patrick) Kelly, Candace (Brian) Cannan, Scott Wright and Brant (Marcella) Wright; grandfather of, Laura (Brad) Ziegler, Blake Ordell, Matthew (Katherine), Jacob and Jeffrey Cannan, Brittany and Adamson Wright and the late Bradford Ordell; great-grandfather of, Katherine and McKenna Ziegler. Bill served in the United States Army during World War II stationed in England as a surgical technician. He received his Bachelor of Science and Masters degree from Wayne State University and Specialist from Michigan State University. He retired from Roseville Public Schools in 1983 after 32 years of service as a teacher and school psychologist. He also served as a Fraser Public School Board member for 8 years (1961-1969). He enjoyed ballroom and tap dancing, singing and traveling. His greatest joy in life was his wife, children and grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held in the spring at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
