Obituary Condolences

KLEMM, DAVID ALFRED Age 64, passed away August 17, 2013 in the loving arms of his wife of 38 years, Cindy (nee Pellegrom) after a short battle with liver cancer. He was born February 11, 1949 in Mt. Clemens. He graduated from Mt. Clemens High School in 1967; he then went on to graduate from Ferris State College. He met the love of his life in 1973 and they were married on September 20, 1974. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. His second love was collecting, restoring, and cruising with Cindy in classic cars, especially Oldsmobiles. They are members of St. Peter Catholic Church in Mt. Clemens for 39 years. Dave and Cindy are also members of the Motor City Rockets, the Oldsmobile Club of America, and the National Antiques Oldsmobile Club. He was a former member of the Selfridge ANG Base Community Council. He is survived by his wife Cindy; brother Robert (Lorraine) Klemm of Colegate, Wis.; aunt Doris Feldmann of Mt. Clemens; in-laws Leonard and Phyllis Pellegrom of Macomb, Kerin (the late Robert) Pelfrey of Houston, Texas, Dennis (Sherry) Pellegrom of Armada, Mich., Valerie (Robert) Gilloolly of Bethlehem, Pa., Redina (Donald) Simon of Washington Township, Natalie (Charles) Mok of Washington Township, Timothy (Meghan) Pellegrom of Johnson City, Tenn., Doreen (Paul) Pellegrom-Johnstone of Royal Oak, and Jason (Jennifer) Pellegrom of Jacksonville, NC. He was also Uncle Dave to many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his many close friends. He was predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Erna Klemm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 9 a.m. (instate 8:30 a.m.) at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mt. Clemens. Visitation will be held in the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main Street, Mt. Clemens on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. and on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 1-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Scripture Service. Burial will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Clinton Township. Memorial donations may be sent to the R.E.
