Mr. Edward Suwal Obituary
Edward Suwal, age 88, died peacefully at home on January 4. He was a devoted husband and father, survived by his wife of 65 years Loretta, and children, David (Katie), Louise (Gary) Denolf and Paul. He proudly served his country in World War II (123rd Inf.). Throughout his life, he found ways to extend his value of service to helping people. After the Army, he quickly found his place as a civilian, enjoying a successful career as an interior designer. His ongoing success was because he cared about his customers. Another gift he shared were his artistic skills, most notably his painted rocks, which he was as quick to give away as sell. Ed was a lifelong Michigander, but never lost his sense of adventure, and managed to explore the frontiers of Alaska and read voraciously about the "old west". If you knew, or even just met Ed, you felt he cared about you. We encourage you, as Ed would, to share your gifts with everyone you encounter, and never lose your sense of adventure! Ed's memorial Mass will be at St. Raymond's Parish, February 16 at 10 a.m. Please leave memories at www.wasikfuneralhome.com.
