JANE BURMANN Obituary
BURMANN, JANE Passed away peacefully at The Regency on The Lake Nursing Facility on November 4, 2013. Jane was born September 30, 1922 in Buffalo, N.Y. to Frederick and Alice (nee Myles) Brosman. On December 30, 1944, she married Max Burmann. After World War II, Jane and Max settled in Armada where they raised their family. Jane was very active in the Armada community serving in the Amvets Auxiliary, Athletic Boosters Club, as a United Way Torch Drive volunteer, a member of the Armada Congregational United Church of Christ and assisted in Lions Club events. Jane worked in dining services at the Romeo Tractor and Equipment plant for 14 years. After Jane and Max retired, they moved to the lake at Sugar Springs in Gladwin. Surviving are her children, Diana (Michael) Ronan, Gary (Laurie) Burmann, Karen (Andrew) Harwood and Kurt (Carol) Burmann; brother, Frederick (Virginia) Brosman, Jr.; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Max; her parents; siblings, Harold Brosman, Loretta Bartholomy and Dorothy Seiders. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2013 at Tiffany-Young and Hauss Funeral Home, 73919 North Avenue, Armada with visitation from 10 a.m. until the 2 p.m. service. Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery, Richmond Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Armada Lions Club or Masonic Lodge #397 of Gladwin.
