Obituary Condolences

James A. Murawski, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home in Shelby Township on March 26, 2011. He served in the Pacific during World War II as an Air Force radio technician. He worked as a journeyman glazier and also held leadership positions within the Michigan Glass and Glazing union. James enjoyed bowling, golf, western movies, working with computers and watching Detroit Red Wing hockey games. He supported community needs through the Knights of Columbus and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Loving husband of Virginia. Dear father of James (Marie), Curtis (Jean) and Terry (Judy); grandfather of Carrie, Jamie, Rose, Madeline, David, James, Ruth, Bryan, Caroline, Kattie and Karen; great-grandfather of Amber, Taylor, Brenden, Jacob, Nathan, Nicholas, Noel and Pike; and brother of Gloria and Lester. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Theresa and his brothers Raymond and Marvin. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 2, 2011 at noon at St. Therese of Lisieux Church, 48115 Schoenherr Road, Shelby Township, MI 48315.
