Mr. Erol W. Charron Obituary
Erol W. Charron, age 93, passed away on July 8, 2012. Beloved husband of Doris (nee Lombardo) for 66 years. Loving father of Paul, Carol (Robert) Newton, Thomas (Mary Ann), Susan (Steven) Zarowny, Brian (Shirley), and Philip (fiancé Kim). Proud and loving grandpa of eight and great-grandpa of two. Dear brother of Yvonne (Francis "Ed") Rottach, Christopher (Estelle) and Norma (Charles) Heimerl. Predeceased by three sisters and one brother. Mr. Charron was proud to serve in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II; he served as a firefighter for the City of Detroit with his career culminating as a fire inspector with a total of 25 years of service. He had a second career working for the Department of the Army at the Tank Automotive Command. Instate Wednesday, 10 a.m. until time of 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Louise Catholic Church, 2500 12 Mile Road (between Dequindre and Ryan). Interment with military honor, St. Clement Cemetery, Center Line. Memorial contributions to St. Vincent de Paul are appreciated.
