I remember the first time I meet Aunt Jan. Uncle Earl brought her to Wamplers Lake. I thought that she was so beautiful. Uncle Earl and she pierced Jacque and my ears on that trip. I have a cherished picture of them standing next to us with a needle. It was very casual. Uncle Earl was in his bathing suit and Jan was in a very appropriate and cute two piece bathing suit. She looked amazing.
When they left my Mom and Dad talked about them. I remember my dad saying how happy he was that he finally found someone. He had been so busy getting his medical degree that he hadn't had much time to look. They seemed very happy together.
Soon after that we attended their wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and she was a beautiful and gracious bride.
And this is how I remember her through out her life. She was a wonderful caring, kind, sophisticated and well mannered woman. You were blessed to have her in your lives, as were all who knew her. I'm glad my Uncle Earl found her!
My condolences. Debi

My sympathies, thoughts, and prayers go out to my uncles, cousins and family on the loss of (Aunt) Janet. She was a gracious and kind person, and part of many happy family memories over Thanksgiving, Christmas and summers in Bay View. Janet will be missed here, but its comforting to know she is not alone where she is now.

Our family's hearts go out to Janet and her family. Marrying Janet's nephew, she made me feel welcome from the first time I met her at her house for Thanksgiving, and every time after that she was always so thoughtful, considerate and generous to us. She showed a genuine interest in each one of our children, as well. I feel grateful to have known and loved her. We will miss you, but smile thinking of you.
