"Miss Elizabeth" was truly a fixture at City Hall. I'll never forget her courage in yelling at a man who attempted to rob her at her snack bar! Everyone came running to her aid.
For many years our chorus sang at the "Chit Club" every December. She always reciprocated by singing "Up on the Housetop" for us. She was a wonder!
