For some reason, I thought of Miss Pearl today. So I googled her name, only to see her obituary. This saddens me. Miss Pearl kept my boys years ago and was one of the greatest women I had the priviledge to know. I still have a teddy bear that she gave to my youngest son for Christmas one year and every year, it goes under our tree. I now live in Kentucky and lost contact with her over the years, but she will always be in my heart. I owe much to her for the love and care she gave to my children. I'm sure she has a special place in heaven and is looking down and still caring / watching over all those that were blessed to know her. We love you Momma Pearl.

I never met Mrs. Pearl, but knew by the way her daughter Mrs. Bonnie talked, that she was a good mother. For the 3 years that I've known Mrs. Bonnie, we have prayed for Mrs. Pearl. Mrs. Bonnie, and Jeff ... just know that we are praying for you ...it's never easy saying good-bye to your mother and grandmother.... but to have that peace and comfort in knowing that you will see her again one day. We Love you,
Mike and Tammy Willis

I am sorry to hear of Mrs. Pearl's passing. As I looked through the pictures I had warm memories of my time staying with Mrs. Pearl and the many things she taught me. I had a chuckle at the picture that includes me...I was so very fond of her. I have the family in my thoughts and prayers and I know it is a difficult time, yet thoughts of her looking down on us and continuing to be the wonderful caretaker and "Mama Pearl" she always was comforts me. God Bless.

From Tommy Lee,Aunt Pearl was more than just an aunt to me.When i was first learning to play the Guitar and Sing, she would always give me 50 cents to sing an old country song called BJ the DJ, by stonewall jackson, that was a lots of money back then, she was my first paying Gig.Mama would always let me go spend a week with her, when school was out for the summer, and i had so much fun. to me Macon was like New York, compaired to Gleenwood, where i lived, which only had 2 stores and a school house. i will really miss her,Please say a prayer for her family,God bless you Aunt Pearl.I will always Love You.
