Macon, GA- Robert "Bob" F. Miller, 81, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 at a local hospital. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2013 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Rev. Chris Mullis will officiate. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Monday at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Disabled Veterans Chapter 9, 4493 Houston Avenue, Macon 31206.
Mr. Miller, son of the late Daniel K. and Glenna Armstrong Miller, was born in Cowen, WV and he still considered West Virginia as Heaven. He served with the U. S. Air Force from 1950 - 1972 and also served as a volunteer with the Food Bank in Macon and for thirteen years in the pharmacy of the U.S. Air Force Medical Center. Mr. Miller was retired from General Services in Security after twenty two years of service. He was an avid sports fan and loved anything outdoors.
He will be missed by those he loved most, his wife of fifty-nine years, Margaret K. Miller of Macon; his adopted daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Richard Jones of Macon; his sisters, Deanna (Robert) Zellmann of Crystal Lake, IL and Sandra Lynn (Ray) Kjar of Irvine, CA and several nieces and nephews.

Bob only played in one golf match in his life and he won. He beat me and I'm glad he did.Didn't get to see him much but the memories will always be there.
