Fannie Belle Hankerson December 14, 1925 - December 12, 2014 Macon , Georgia- Ms. Fannie Belle Hankerson, age 88, passed on Friday, December 12, 2014. Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. , Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 201 Chatham Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Ms. Hankerson served as a educator for 31 years. She retired as a home economics teacher from the Monroe County School System. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., She leaves to mourn her passing: one brother, Ulysses Hankerson; two sisters, Louise Hankerson Ibim and Mary Frances Martin; one sister-in-law, Zetta Mae Hankerson; two brothers-in-law, Dr. Geoffrey Ibim, Fort Valley, Georgia and Frank Martin, Sr., Miami, Florida; numerous nieces including Mary Frances Hayes, and nephews; and a host of other relatives, including Theresa Hankerson and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Youth Development Camp in Bibb County, Macon, Georgia. Services entrusted to Meadows' Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel Inc..

Florence Allen "Flo" Hallman August 9, 1924 - Dec. 16, 2014 Macon, GA- Florence Allen "Flo" Hallman, 90, died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend James Braswell officiating. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of Glen Haven. Visitation will be between 4:00-6:00PM on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Hart's at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 390 Pierce Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204, or All About Animals, PO Box 4331, Macon, Georgia 31208. Mrs. Hallman was a long time member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and served as church secretary for several local churches. She was retired from Southern Bell. She was a "Friend of Bill" and a sponsor to many for over 30 years. Mrs. Hallman was preceded in death by her former husband, Jim Hallman, Jr., and daughter, Mary Jo Spears. She was the daughter of the late Charles F. Allen and Mattie Sue Beavers Allen. Survivors include her son, James W. "Jimmy" Hallman, III (Pat) of Hitchcock, Texas; daughter, Sue Hummel of Macon; four grandchildren, Julie Huff (Doug) of Saugus, California, Tricia Roberts (Jason) of League City, Texas, Lori Gilmer of Macon, and Jay Stewart of Stockbridge, Georgia; five great grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond Allen of Baltimore, Maryland. Hensley, Rowena P. - Dayton  
Rowena P. Hensley Lizella, GA- Rowena P. Hensley, 85, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 in a local hospital. The family will meet friends from 6 - 8 p.m.,Wednesday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday at George C. Martin Funeral Home with burial in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton, OH. The Rev. Randy Chestnut will officiate. Mrs. Hensley, daughter of the late Roe and Earlene Pharis Porter, was born in Dublin and was a 1947 graduate of Dublin High School. She had lived in Dayton, Ohio before moving to Lizella in 1991. She was a caregiver with Eldercare and was of the Methodist Faith. Mrs. Hensley was a member of the VFW and the American Legion in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Hensley, her brother, Gene A. Porter and her sister, Gerry Langston. Survivors include her daughter, Janet H. (Daniel) George of Dayton, OH; her two sons, Phillip R. (Cindy) Hensley and William M. Hensley; her sister, Janice (Thomas) Chamblee; her brothers, H. M. (Saundra) Porter and Sam Porter; her granddaughter, Sara George; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Hobbs, Michael Lanier - Boca Raton  
Michael Lanier Hobbs 6-1-1977 - 12-15-2014 Boca Raton, FL- Funeral services for Mr. Michael Lanier Hobbs, 37, of Boca Raton, FL, who died on Monday, December 15, 2014, at his residence, will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at 11 a.m., in Cochran First Baptist Church with burial following at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens. Pastor Keith Rustin will officiate. Michael was 37 at the time of his passing and was living with his beautiful daughter, Anna Gail Hobbs, in Boca Raton, FL. He was a loving and devoted father to Anna, giving his all to raise her to be a happy, loving and caring little girl. Before moving to Florida, Mike lived his entire life in Georgia, born in Dublin, raised in Cochran and living most recently in Warner Robins. Mike had a life-long passion for music, having mastered the trumpet and guitar. He enjoyed nothing quite so much as playing in a band, large or small, with his many friends. He was a ready friend to everyone he met, always putting the comfort and care of others before his own. Besides Anna, Mike is survived by his father, Mickey Hobbs of Sharpsburg; stepfather, Wayne Williams of Cochran; sisters, Shannon Webster of Byron and Michelle Hobbs of Sharpsburg; brother, Kevin Hobbs, currently serving his country in Afghanistan; and grandmother, Sharon Bryant of Warner Robins. He now joins his beloved mother, Linda Gail Williams (nee Bryant), at rest with God. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday, December 17, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Cancer Institute or to the Michael L. David R. Harp Macon, GA- David Randall Harp, 58, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Pine Pointe Hospice. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday at Wesley United Methodist Church with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Mark Magoni will officiate. The family will meet friends from 5 - 7 p.m., Thursday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 4256 Hartley Bridge Road, Macon 31216. Mr. Harp was born in Philadelphia, PA, served with the U. S. Air Force and graduated from Macon State and Macon Tech. He was also a Licensed Real Estate agent. He was preceded in death by his mother Ramona Jean Clower Harp and by his son-in-law, Michael Allen Timm, Jr. Mr. Harp retired from Robins Air Force Base after thirty-six years of service. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cherished his family and loved spending time with them. Survivors include the family he adored, his wife of thirty-seven years, Theresa Smith Harp; his children, Susan Timm, Traci Harp and Matthew Harp; his beloved granddaughter, Michaela Timm; his father, Ray Harp; his sisters, Terri Johnston and Nancy (Paul) Lubeck; his father-in-law, S. Ada Garrison Haymans February 25, 1944 - December 11, 2014 Macon, GA- Ada Haymans, age 70, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Ada was one of 7 children born to the late Walter and Dealia Hoskins Garrison in Leslie County Kentucky. She worked as a bookkeeper for Central Subaru in Macon for many years and was a member of Flat Creek Brethren Church. Ada was a very independent woman who loved to work outside in her flower and vegetable gardens but she was also quick to go out of her way to help anyone in need. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Kelly) Haymans, her daughter, Keely (Scott) Renfroe, 3 grandsons; Alex Haymans, Charlie Renfroe, and Sam Renfroe, one sister, Joyce Gladney all of Macon and one brother, Walter (Brenda) Garrison of Baxley as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stacy Laverne Haymans, 3 brothers; Glenn Garrison, Humphrey Garrison, and Ray Hoskins and a sister, Geraldine Williamson. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Margaret B. Hicks December 15, 1935 - December 10, 2014 Warner Robins, GA.- Margaret B. Hicks, 78, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Margaret was born on December 15, 1935 in Venita, Oklahoma. She was a member of First Christian Church of Warner Robins. Margaret was a wonderful homemaker. She was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Her son, Donnie Hicks and parents, Bud and Faith Hamm Bowers, preceded her in death. Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 61 years, Rufus "Lonnie" Hicks of Warner Robins; children, Lonnie Hicks of Hawkinsville and James Hicks of Dallas; grandchildren, Shaun Hicks (Niki) of Bonaire and Quinton Hicks (Chastity) of Warner Robins; great-grandchildren, Camden Hicks, Addie Hicks, and Landon Hicks; and niece, Sherry Coyan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
