Kimery, Joanne Jackson - Macon  
Joanne Jackson Kimery Macon, Georgia- Sarah Joanne Jackson Kimery, age 83, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 3, 2015. Joanne was born in Chester and lived in Valdosta and Smyrna before returning to Macon. She was an elementary and high school teacher in Smyrna and Valdosta, retiring after 33 years of teaching. She earned a degree in Home Economics from G.S.C.W. While in Valdosta she taught for the Extension Service through UGA. She earned her Masters degree in Elementary Education from West Georgia College and taught 5th grade science and history at Smyrna Elementary. Joanne loved to travel and loved flowers and birds and could name any flower that she came upon. She believed in giving back to others which was demonstrated in her volunteer work, teaching vacation bible school at numerous churches as well as volunteering at The Georgia Baptist Children's Home. She had a loving personality, was quick to comment and had a wonderful sense of humor. Joanne was predeceased in death by her parents, Sarah and Roy Jackson and her husband, Maj. Lloyd O'Neal Kimery. US Army, retired. She was a member of Ivey Baptist Church in Ivey, Georgia. Survivors include her children: Patricia Gold (John), Tampa, FL, Ronald Toombs (DeLynne), Devers, TX, stepchildren: Robert Kimery (Jane), Greenville, NC, Gary Kimery, Atlanta, Gregory Kimery (Angela), Loganville, and Michelle Kimery, Auburn, GA, 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Services will be held at Moores Funeral Home, Friday May 8th, visitation will begin at 11:00 am, service to begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Kyzer, Freddie - Wrightsville  
Freddie Kyzer March 21, 1936 - May 4, 2015 Wrightsville, Georgia- Funeral services for Mr. Freddie L. Kyzer, age 79, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Dr. Larry Daniel and Mr. Ralph Veal will officiate. Mr. Kyzer was born March 21, 1936 in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur Siremba Kyzer and Cleo Walker Kyzer. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was a retired farmer. Mr. Kyzer passed away Monday, May 4, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Kyzer, a son, Allen Kyzer, a daughter, Janet Kyzer (Larry) Ward, a sister, Wilda K. Meeks all of Wrightsville, and three grandchildren, Isabella Ward, Larry Ward, II and Logan Ward. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mike Evans, Ware Evans, Hugh Veal, Jim Tanner, Robert Veal and Harold Stevenson.
